Cardiac Rehabilitation
River Region's Cardiac Rehab program is designed to teach you the skills needed to achieve a healthier lifestyle. The Cardiac Rehab Team will also work with your physician to set realistic goals, and teach you how to meet those goals.
Cardiac Rehab consists of:
- Telemetry monitored, medically supervised exercise
- Learning sessions on heart disease, lifestyle changes, and medications
- One-on-one work with our experience Cardiac Rehab Team
Cardiac Rehab usually lasts between 8-12 weeks (12, 24, or 36 sessions) with 2-3 sessions per week. River Region also offers a maintenance program that allows you to continue cardiac rehab for as long as you want.
Pulmonary Rehab
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a comprehensive program that may benefit patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, restrictive or interstitial lung disease, lung transplant or lung volume reduction surgery. River Region's Cardiopulmonary Rehab team will teach you to live and breathe better with chronic lung disease. With their help, you'll learn about your condition and gain skills to help you manage it.
